Magazeen is fixed width with a heap of configuration settings including colour.
Download Magazeen from drupal.org/project/magazeen. This version is 6.x-2.0-alpha3 from 2009-Jun-27, a 772.24 KB download.
There are some changes I recommend for this theme. There is a max-width of 150em on the body in general.css. The theme heading expands most of the way across a wide screen then stops. Weird. Remove the max-width to get edge to edge heading with no gap at the end.
Validation
The W3C and Total Validator validate this theme as XHTML 1.0 Strict. Total Validator also passes this theme as WCAG (WAI) at level A but not at level AA or higher because of improperly nested headings. Heading level 1 is missing.
The W3C reports the following errors in the CSS when validated as CSS 3.
URI : http://d-theme.com/sites/all/themes/magazeen/css/typography.css?n
560 ul.primary li a Property -moz-border-radius-topleft doesn't exist : 4px

562 ul.primary li a Property -moz-border-radius-topright doesn't exist : 4px
563 ul.primary li a Property -webkit-border-top-right-radius doesn't exist : 4px
When validated against the older CSS 2.1, this theme has the previous errors plus the following errors.
URI : http://d-theme.com/sites/all/themes/magazeen/css/general.css?n
21 tr.menu-disabled Property opacity doesn't exist in CSS level 2.1 but exists in [css3] : 0.5

Configure
You can set the color scheme in Administer > Site building > Themes > Configure plus the following settings.
This theme lets you set meta tags for your pages, a very good idea. This site uses the Meta Tags module and does not need the theme equivalent. You should use meta tags so use either a theme with meta tag entry or use the Meta Tags module.
