Both the W3C and Total Validator agree this theme validates as XHTML 1.0 Strict. The theme then fails WCAG A validation and US 508 validation because the following image element does not have an alt attribute.
<input type="image" name="op" value="Log in" id="edit-submit" class="form-submit" src="/sites/all/themes/sunset/images/login.gif" />
Wave reported only one error, a book reference returned from amazon.com that contains suspect alt text for an image. The theme developer cannot be blamed for an error created by Amazon so this theme is marked as passed by Wave.
Validation as CSS 3 produced 60 errors and validation as the older CSS 2.1 produced 75 errors. Here are the first few. Note that some properties, including box-shadow, are added in CSS 3. Other properties, including -moz-box-shadow and -webkit-box-shadow, are short term substitutes for some browsers that do not support the CSS 3 standard.
